(1) Optional Connect Cover at checkout — renters can buy damage cover from $0 excess (Full) to capped excess (Standard/Lite); without it the renter is personally liable for up to $4,500 in damage. (2) You can set a refundable bond on your listing that we hold from the renter's card and only charge if there's an issue. Most Australian comprehensive vehicle insurance also extends to a towed trailer — but verify your specific renter's cover before relying on it.
Payment is taken from the renter upfront via Stripe. Once you complete Stripe Connect onboarding, payouts arrive in your nominated bank account — Stripe quotes typical Australian payouts at 2-5 business days after the booking starts, depending on your bank.
