Photograph the trailer at pickup and return
Both renter and owner take photos of all sides. Stored against your booking, so condition is on record.
Owner reports any damage within 48 hours of return
Photos plus a written description. We notify you the same day.
Review and resolve
Most damage claims are resolved between renter and owner directly. Where they disagree, we mediate and use the pickup photos as the reference point.

Yes, until you pay. Once payment goes through, the cover tier is locked in. Contact support if you need to change it before pickup.
Yes for accident damage to the trailer, up to repair-or-replace value. Your daily cover premium funds the cap so you don't pay an excess on top. You are not asked for additional money out-of-pocket.
Many Australian comprehensive policies extend cover to a towed trailer up to a value. Check the wording of YOUR policy. If it doesn't or you're not sure, Connect Cover gives a fixed cap you can rely on at the time of booking.
